St. Mary’s Agape Mission School caters to children legally unable to receive an education in Malaysia and serves 96 children aged 4-18, mostly Myanmar refugees. While there are 3 local Myanmar teachers, the school depends fully on volunteers willing to give up some time during their week to support these children.
We’ve put up RM5 vouchers on CzipLite Bangsar. You can add to cart as many as you want while shopping with us this Christmas. Every single cent collected will go back to the school and we’ll share the final tally at the end of the month.
We’re also supporting the school via the Lametna project (all the cute handsewn ornaments in our pic). The ornaments are already on sale on CzipLite Bangsar. Grab yours soon as they are moving really fast!
The funds raised will provide the refugee children with a better learning environment and resources to help with their schooling. It’s all part of CzipLee’s annual initiative to give back, in collaboration with St Mary’s Cathedral.
